Real Estate Associate: no experience needed.  Exclusive.  We are seeking a 2009 or 2010 grad (maybe 2011) with a desire to perform real estate work at a large firm.  No real estate experience is necessary, as you will be trained on the job.  We do need strong grades and a top law firm background.  Normal hours, strong comp and great partnership track.  I have placed at this firm previously. 

 

Corporate Transactions - great work, great boss, top comp, smooth partnership track.  We are seeking a senior associate or experienced mid-level associate for this position - most likely 2004-2007 grads only.  The work involves M&A, corporate finance, public and private securities offerings and regulatory/compliance matters. We need someone with sophisticated, large law firm corporate transactional experience.  The best parts:  your new boss is a cool guy who is very highly respected in his industry...so easy to get along with...and he is in a top leadership position at the firm...and you will have a pretty clear path to partnership - not only will you be working for a powerful person at the firm, but there is no congestion of associates in this group at your level.  I can share more with you.  Trust me, this is a great opportunity.  $5,000 Bonus: If Performance gets paid, you get paid. Corporate Opportunities.  I have several large law firms that are currently seeking corporate associates who have strong academic backgrounds and large law firm experience.  As you may know, firms are paying a premium these days for the best candidates.  I've had great success getting interviews and big offers for my select candidates.

 

In-House Opportunities.  I'm looking to add some new attorneys to a top technology company. We have a need for (1) a Contracts attorney as well as an (2) Employment law attorney. The Contracts attorney will negotiate contracts between your new employer and Fortune 500 companies, as well as many other types of agreements such as for advertising and vendors. Your new boss is a friend of mine and a great person to be around. The Employment law attorney will handle litigation management, risk management, review policies, help train employees, work with HR, handle EEOC complaints and interact with the Department of Labor. The comp is terrific for an in-house job. I don't do a lot of in-house opportunities; when I do, they are good ones!

 

Construction Transactions Associate.  We need an associate with 2+ years experience of

negotiating and drafting architecture and construction contracts for commercial projects, including Class A office buildings, mixed-use hotel/condominium/retail, and multi-family projects.  Also, drafting proposals and preparing bid documents for public and private construction projects. The comp is very high. The boss is a friend of mine and a terrific person to spend every day working with and learning from.  I have placed at this firm previously.


Oil & Gas - mostly title work.  I placed two partners at this firm last year. They now have a need for an attorney licensed in North Dakota, as there is considerable oil and gas work to be done there...but you will work in the Metroplex (no travel to ND).  Even if you are just in the process of applying to North Dakota, that is good enough - the state will allow you to do the work. The comp is above market. And these are about the nicest guys you could ever meet! This firm only works with one recruiter because they trust me to get the job done quickly and correctly. I have placed at this firm previously.

 

Capital Markets - NYC work in Dallas.  I recently moved a Capital Markets associate from NYC to Texas. The firm is thrilled with him and wants me to place another one with them. You will get great experience in this group. We need 2-4 years of experience representing public companies in public and private securities offerings. I have placed at this firm previously.
