One of my friends – a name partner at an elite Dallas Patent Law boutique – has given me the exclusive to recruit a new associate for their practice who is a a 1st – 3rd year. Compensation depends on experience, but total comp is above other boutiques and competitive with large firms. Comp also depends on the firm’s performance…the firm has a blend of hourly and contingency work, so when contingency cases deliver, associates receive SUBSTANTIAL bonuses throughout the year. Low hours. We will consider patent litigators as well as patent prosecutors from the 2011-2014 classes.
